Systems Analysis Project Lead - UML, Agile, Waterfall - Essex

Management level Systems Analyst needed by a fast growing financial services business in their Essex offices to take a lead role in delivery of projects in and around the design, build and implementation of large scale software solutions.

The role will be leading a team of systems analysts, whilst maintaining a hands on approach to work. Keys experiences needed include:

Experience of line management (planning, appraisals, staff development)
Experience of full project lifecycle and use of different methodologies (waterfall and agile methods)
Excellent verbal/written skills
Experience of complex systems architectures involving the integration of systems and third party systems
Experience of problem solving techniques
Experience of Use Cases and UML.

You will need to have strong project management and stakeholder skills, as you will play a big part in engaging with IT, Change, Operations and Marketing / Sales teams to plan and allocate resource for specific assignments. No formal Project management skills are needed, but any exposure to methodologies to PRINCE2 etc could be beneficial.
