ISL is recruiting for a Systems Administrator to work with their Managed Services client in London. Working as part of a small, but talented team, the Systems Administrator will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the various platforms and products developed by the company.

The Systems Administrator should have operational experience managing Linux based servers in a LAMP environment as well as extensive experience working with mail transfer agents (Exim, sendmail etc).

The Systems Administrator will gain experience working with a number of different technologies, but should have experience with many some of the following:

- Operating Systems: Ubuntu Linux, Windows 2003, Windows 2008W

- Web Servers: Apache, Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS)

- Mail Servers: Exim, Courier-IMAP, Microsoft Exchange

- DNS: PowerDNS, Unbound

- Monitoring: Zabbix, Nagios, CA's service monitoring suite

- Databases: MySQL, MongoDB, memcached, Microsoft SQL server

- Configuration management: Puppet, mcollective, Powershell scripting

- Server Virtualisation: KVM, VMware

- Server Automation: DHCP, kickstart, preseed, sysprep

- Storage: BlueArc/NetApp storage with NFS and iSCSI exports

- Network: Cisco Switches/Routers, Juniper Firewalls, Netscaler Load Balancers

- Applications: SharePoint, Terminal Services

This is an excellent opportunity to work with a market leader. Salary is up to £45,000 depending on experience plus excellent benefits (including private medical insurance and pension scheme)
