Business Analyst - Full project lifecycle - up to £55,000 - Ipswich

My client is a leading financial services business with a truly global presence, due to growth within their Global IT team based in East Anglia, they are looking to bring in a high-calibre business analyst to play a pivotal role within this function.

THE ROLE
The successful Business Analyst will be:
* A core member of the Business Analysis team responsible for high value delivering services to the Business Units (BUs).

* Responsible for conducting detailed analysis within a business area, producing functional requirements and preparing feasibility proposals for the development and implementation of IT solutions.

* Will provide support to the Portfolio and Project Managers throughout the implementation of major strategic initiatives driving realisation of all identified business benefits.


I am keen to hear from candidates with the below experience

* Experience using these throughout the full project lifecycle.
* Experience of both package implementation and bespoke development is essential.
* A background in consultancy would be highly advantageous.


Key responsibilities include:


* Partnering with the business units to identify opportunities and / or problems and assisting design of the solutions.

* The preparation of commercial business cases in line with the agreed governance process.

* The clear definition and measurement of critical success criteria and the articulation of project benefits.

* The development of functional requirements specifications that meet the client's goals, objectives, work practices and environment.

* The support for, and strong involvement in solution definition, particularly in the selection of appropriate packages.

* Ensuring best practice is followed throughout the project lifecycle and that the solution delivered is appropriate for the stated business need.

* Facilitating business change management and process design.
