Leading Institutional Fund Manager require a Senior IT Project Manager to be responsible for Sales / Marketing, Transfer Agency and Client Reporting systems development & projects. Business as Usual (BAU) activities will provide a high degree of input into the strategic growth of this newly developed team and control of budgets / headcount and resources.

Principal Accountabilities

Dimensions:
*Institutional Business is responsible for all sales and marketing, product development and strategy and client servicing activities. The last of these includes client take-on, processing of client instructions, client reporting, responding to all client enquiries and invoicing. Institutional Business also owns the relationship with industry consultants.
*Institutional Business has its own IT team responsible for the delivery of all projects and BAU activities. The Client Servicing Programme (CSP) aims to deliver transformational change to the Institutional Business service proposition over the next three years.
*There are a significant number of projects and business as usual (BAU) activities that need to be managed. Further, BAU capabilities will need to expand in time to accommodate deliveries from the CSP.

Projects
*Own and manage the process for raising, approving and prioritising work requests
*Manage a healthy flow of enhancements to Institutional Business systems alongside Projects and BAU activities within budget constraints
*Manage the budget assigned to Other Institutional Business Projects
*Produce management information evidencing most effective use of the available budget
*Within the technology strategy for Institutional Business, manage the production of business cases for projects through to approval
*Manage projects or appoint a project manager and oversee projects to successful conclusion (based on agreed success criteria)
*Support projects for other business lines that need specific Institutional Business IT resources (within budget constraints and agreed business strategies)
BAU (support)
*Manage the resolution of all production incidents impacting Institutional Business
*Manage the resources and process by which production incidents are identified, assigned and resolved
*Manage the budget assigned to BAU
*Produce management information around production incidents
*By ensuring the permanent resolution of production incidents, evidence a reduction in the number and associated costs
*Manage the resources assigned to Institutional Business Projects and BAU activities
*As a member of the Institutional IT Management Team, contribute to the technology strategy for Institutional Business
*As a member of the Institutional IT Management Team, contribute to the formation of the Institutional Business IT budget (annually)
*Provide input to and take action on plans to improve the IT department's overall performance

You will ideally have:
*The IMC and have a minimum of 3yrs experience in a similar environment within an Institutional Fund Manager
*Relevant Project management qualification / accreditation (Prince2)
*Led a development team that has delivered an Investment Management application supporting Institutional Sales and Client Servicing
*Experience of delivering projects using Agile Development techniques, ideally SCRUM
*Experience of managing a BAU / support unit in this domain
*Commercially aware with experience of managing both project and departmental budgets
