Digital Marketing Manager

£40,000 plus Car Allowance (£4,000) and Bonus - £6,000.

Our client is currently looking to recruit a Digital Marketing Manager in to their Ecommerce team to plan, build, execute and report on all marketing activities. Ideally the successful candidate will have at least three years online marketing experience and have a knowledge of customer targeting and identification tools such as Experian Hitwise and Omniture.

Overall purpose of the role

The Digital Marketing Manager will act as the central point of contact for all product launches across the clients websites. Working in conjunction with the retail estate and other stakeholders, you will work on the build, execution and reporting of all digital marketing in association with the latest products and technology. As such, experience of and a detailed knowledge of digital marketing channels is essential for the role.

The role requires methodical knowledge of online marketing activities, and a meticulous eye for detail, as much will be dependants on the candidate's ability to deliver to strict deadlines, whilst understanding the various demands of internal & external stakeholders. In accordance with product launches, the individual will also be tasked with educating the digital team with key features & USP's of product launches, to help aid 'buy in' and team understanding.

Communication is essential for this role, and an ability to work with senior managers to bring effective marketing execution plans together. The candidate will also be expected to meet with manufacturers and build on relationships to generate additional exposure & MSF opportunities for funding.

The successful candidate will also be involved in brand activity associated with the digital presence, customer experience & reputation of the clients brands.


Key Responsibilities

Build digital marketing execution plans for product launches
Plan, build, execute and report on all marketing activities
Work closely with the retail business to align objectives & activities
Establish & grow relationships with manufacturers to understand product appeal
Work with manufacturers to identify new MSF opportunities
Build reports and deliver analysis where necessary
Educate the direct team on product launches
Work with multiple stakeholders to understand & deliver product launches
Work with multiple stakeholders to understand & deliver seasonal & tactical
marketing
Provide digital marketing that aid the retail & direct business, including the call
centre
Provide assistance in the maintenance & improvement of digital reputation. i.e
Google Seller Rating, TrustPilot, BizarreVoice.
Customer segmentation & targeting identification

Experience & Qualifications

At least 3+ years online marketing experience
Degree educated
Ability to hit tight deadlines under pressure
Strong eye for detail
Good research awareness
Knowledge of analytics & digital tracking systems
Thorough understanding of the mobile industry
Knowledge of multiple digital marketing channels
Excellent interpersonal skills
Excellent time management skills
Experience in people management
Knowledge of customer targeting & identification tools, such as:-
oExperian Hitwise
oExperian Mosaic
oOmniture
oCoremetrics
